RICE is a consortium of seven Rhode Island Colleges and Universities that hosts an annual event connecting representatives interested in hiring teachers with candidates from its member institutions.

Students and alumni interested in a career in education will be introduced to the ABC’s of a successful job search during a full evening of programs.

Assess Your Options Panel
Listen to a panel of experts from public, private, and charter schools as well as organizations that hire teachers for non-traditional opportunities discuss the range of opportunities you have as an educator. Learn what the future hiring needs will be for New England.

Build Career –Related Skills (concurrent sessions)
Attend a variety of programs designed to help you develop skills and knowledge critical to the job search, effective substitute teaching and success in the first year on the job. Receive feedback on your resume and how you might more strategically portray your candidacy.

Connect!
Representatives and candidates will network with one another. This is a chance to exchange information about the climate for hiring in different schools/districts, learn about post-graduation options and, make professional connections that serve as the foundation of a productive job search.
